Chocolate Chip Cookies.
So the other day we get a hankering for a baked treat. I know I did and the kids too. But wait…. Supermarkets and shops still don’t have any flour on the shelves. This leads to a problem with wanting to do baking, whether that is just me or with the kids. I have no idea why everything else seems to have settled out but nope. Flour is still like gold dust and we have been unsuccessful of getting any. So had to settle for the next best thing. Pre mixed packet baking. One big name in these is Betty Crocker and their vast range.
Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookies.
So we decided on a Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix from Betty Crocker.
So simple, there is no ingredient measuring required. Everything you need is all in the packet. The only ingredient you need to add is 30ml of water. How easy is that. Very easy, the instructions are very simple and easy to follow with step by step instructions on how to make these chocolate chip cookies.
It’s quite handy really when you have impatient children that just want to eat a baked treat. But also pig, she loves to help us bake as do the other girls. Pig likes to help weigh out ingredients but hates it when you use the electric whisk or food processor. She doesn’t like the loud noise. The older girls are too impatient to weigh out the ingredients but love to get stuck in and do some mixing.
What is required.
Well all you need with this pack is just 30ml of water. A mixing bowl to mix your dough in. A spoon obviously to mix with. You will need a baking tray to put your dough balls on to cook. And nothing like pointing out the obvious but…. An oven. We wouldn’t be able to bake these Chocolate Chip Cookies otherwise would we.
The fun part.
Empty the contents of the packet into your mixing bowl. Add in your 30ml of water and mix with a spoon until a dough is formed. I know cookie dough is super delicious but try not to eat it before you cook it or you won’t have any delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Spoon out the dough into 8 balls and Place onto your baking tray. Following the instructions on the packet bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Once golden remove from the oven… Obviously and place to cool on a cooling rack.
Unless your like us and couldn’t wait and had warm goeey cookies.
Definitely a thumbs up from the kids on these.
