A message to my Daughter.

A special moment and some time with my eldest daughter.
A special moment with my eldest daughter Pork Chop.

My daughter.

During the lockdown I haven’t had the regular contact I would normally have with my Eldest daughter Pork Chop. This is a message to my Daughter.

It has been so long since I last saw you. 10 weeks or so. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. We as a nation have begun to come out of lockdown.

Hopefully this means it will not be much longer until I can see you again.

I have missed the time we spend together. The questions you ask. No matter how silly they may be. The fun and laughter that we share together. Wether that be just me and you or with your younger siblings.

How I have missed your laugh. I know you will hate me for this when you are old enough but the way you laugh uncontrollably and fart. Not to be embarrassed about but it is one thing we both laugh at together. I miss your quirky nature. Your imagination.

I cannot wait until you are able draw me another of your wonderful pictures or read me some pages of a book that you enjoy. To play games with you once more.

Watch you play with the Dolls you love so much. The way you do their hair is brilliant and one thing that is mesmerising to watch.

Your sisters miss you and constantly ask when we may see you again. I know as I will when that day comes you will have your whole family showing you how much you have been missed.

How much I have missed you over these last 10 weeks is incredible. Even though we have spoken on the phone and text message it is not the same.

I truly can’t wait to hug you and hold you in my arms.

From your Daddy I love you unconditionally and I will see you again soon.
